Built adjacent to the ruins of the Elizabethan Mansion after which it is named the course has changed a great deal since its formation in 1900 and is now a beautiful parkland course. The world renowned Dr Alister Mackenzie advised on course alterations in 1913.Club Website

Location/Description
From the EastLeave the M62 at junction 28. Take the A650 towards Bradford and Morley. Keep in the left hand lane and look out for the Mermaid Fish Restaurant on the left. Turn left at the next major set of traffic lights (Half way House). The entrance to the course is ¾ of a mile on the left.
From the WestLeave the M62 at junction 27 (M621 Leeds). Stay in the left hand lane – Morley. Take the A650 towards Wakefield / Morley. Through the next major junction with the Toby carvery on the left. Turn right at the next traffic lights (Half Way House). The entrance to the course is approx ¾ of a mile on the left.
